After School, The Learning Continues

TLA students have access to after-school arts programming at the Marshall L. Davis
Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center — right here in our building.

The Light Academy school day runs Monday–Friday, 8am–2pm. After 2pm, our students have the opportunity to participate in after-school arts programming offered by the Marshall L. Davis Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC) — a nationally recognized arts institution that has been part of the Liberty City community for nearly 50 years. Because TLA is located inside the AHCAC building, students transition seamlessly from academics to the arts without parents needing to arrange additional transportation.
